Jimi Hendrix is still considered to be the greatest guitarist of all time, with his exceptional showmanship to the groundbreaking and innovative playing techniques, he was not only a guitar player but a force of nature.
Jimi was known as an icon for the revolutionary counter-culture of the late 1960s, which was all about taking various drugs and listening to psychedelic music.
Tragically the drugs were his demise, and on September 18th, 1970, the pioneer died of asphyxia while intoxicated with barbiturates.
